Dolores Jean Albion

ALBION, Dolores Jean Dolores Albion was born August 7, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Neva Early Foster and died February 10, 2012, in Kalamazoo. She was a Kalamazoo area resident since 1964, and was an longtime active member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Battle Creek. On November 3, 1963, she was united in marriage to Charles M. Albion, who preceded her in death on December 27, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jean Shay in 2010. Surviving are two grandsons, Brian Dayna Shay and Richard Shay; four great-grandchildren, Adam, Natalie, Jeremy and Andrea. In accordance with Dolores' wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 18th at the Seventh Day Baptist Church 200 N. Washington, Battle Creek. A private family interment will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be directed to the Seventh Day Baptist Church.
