GIVHAN, Diane G.
Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007. She was born June 2, 1942 in Chicago, the daughter of William and Adlean Mc Neal Moore and had been a resident of Kalamazoo for many years. Diane was a member of Galilee Baptist Church, where she attended the Ladies Bible Study. She loved cooking, knitting, shopping and baking. She loved her family. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Arzell Givhan on May 12, 2006; her parents; a daughter, Heather Givhan; a sister, Bernadine Nickerson; a brother, Harold Richards; and a nephew, Arnold Smith. Surviving are her children, Robert Ellis of MO, Kenny Angie Hunt of Kalamazoo and Carrie Mish Yaisrael of Kalamazoo; her grandchildren, Kevin Hunt, Brandy Fitzsimmons, Shay, Nasi, Sar, Solomon and Simeon Yisrael all of Kalamazoo; her sister, Corlene Thomas of Atlanta, GA; 2 sisters-in-law, Daisy James Tipton and Rosie Richards; a special niece, Canetia Smith of Kalamazoo; and a host of friends. A Family Hour will be held on Monday beginning at 12 Noon, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM in the Galilee Baptist Church, 1216 N. Westnedge Ave. with the Rev. Dr. J. Louis Felton officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, North. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
