RICHMOND, Dennis Lee
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away at home on October 21, 2009. Dennis was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on July 4, 1948. He was the son of Charles and Nina Babcock Richmond. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Richmond and his brothers, Charles, Jr. and Michael Richmond. Surviving is his mother, Nina Richmond; his brothers, William Nanette Richmond of Lawrence, Jeffery Vicki Richmond of Kalamazoo, as well as his sister, Judith James Oswalt of Mattawan. He also has many nieces and nephews. Dennis was a veteran of the Vietnam War, earning two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and many other awards. He was admired, loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends who cherished the time God shared him with us. At his request, cremation has taken place. No Memorial service will be held.
