LYNN, Dennis E. of Schoolcraft Denny was received into Heaven on Sunday afternoon, August 2, 2015. He was born on May 15, 1941, in Kalamazoo, the son of Forrest and Isabelle (Eaton) Lynn. Denny was an artistic home builder and craftsman, who owned and operated DEL Homes, Inc. for the past 53 years. Denny was a longtime member of Gull Lake United Methodist Church. Surviving are his daughter, Sheryl (Peter) Lozicki of Ada; two grandchildren, Alexandria and Matthew Lozicki; brother, Gilbert (Darlene) Lynn of Vicksburg; three sisters, Nancy (Victor) Tate of Kalamazoo, Judith (Brian) Brook of Three Rivers, and Jacqueline (Richard) Coons of Kalamazoo; life partner, Nancy Finch of Schoolcraft; daughter-in-law, Marie Lynn; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Margaret Lynn and son, Mark Lynn. A memorial service to celebrate Denny's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, Aug. 7, at Gull Lake United Methodist Church, 8640 Gull Road, Richland, with Rev. Becca Wieringa officiating. A luncheon and fellowship will follow at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to Habitat for Humanity, Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or Gull Lake United Methodist Church.
