Dennis "Casey" Lavender

D. Casey Lavender, a lifelong resident of Portage, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024. Casey was 77 years old.

Casey was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was the former owner of Suburban Mechanical Company, where he dedicated his career to hard work and excellence. Outside of his professional life, he was an avid fisherman who found joy and tranquility on the water. His passion for fishing reflected his love for nature and the simple pleasures in life.

He will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Susie Lavender; Children: Craig Flocken; Jeff Flocken; Matthew Lavender; Brooke Lavender; as well as his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private ceremony to honor Casey’s life will be held on December 20, 2024.
