BUCHANAN, Mr. Dennis E.
Battle Creek, MI Passed away Friday evening, October 21, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born December 16, 1943 in Battle Creek, MI, the son of Elmer and Tressa Wade Buchanan. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Navy serving four years during the Vietnam Conflict. He was employed by Kellogg Company for 27 years until his retirement in 1996. Surviving are his wife Nancy Buchanan; 2 children, Don Buchanan of Kalamazoo and Corinna Amilcar Sanchez-Buchanan; four grandchildren, Haily and Payge Buchanan and Alexander and Xavier Sanchez-Buchanan; three step-children, Kim Bill Mix; Sherry Borgman; and Jimmy Jeannine Eatherton; sister-in-law, Delores Buchanan; former spouse, Donna Buchanan; and several step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and 2 brothers, Kenneth and Michael Buchanan. Memorial services for Dennis will be held 12 noon Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Street. Interment with military honors will be in Ft.
