MOORE, Dena Menck
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Died August 6, 2009 at her residence with her family by her side. Dena was born May 19, 1921 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of John and Jennie DeRoo Musselman and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. She was a long time member of Bethany Reformed Church and loved crocheting and making afghans for her family. Dena was married on May 29, 1942 to Clifford Menck, who preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son David Menck in 2006. On January 3, 1997, she was married to Holt Moore, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Robert Jeri Menck of Delton and Clifford Bonnie Menck of Battle Creek; a daughter-in-law Carol Menck of Delton and a step-son Holt Jennifer Moore of Seattle, WA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother Theodore Linda Musselman of Irons and a sister-in-law Barbara Musselman of Gobles; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. Dr. Robert Terwilliger officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may meet the family on Sunday from 3-6 pm at the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Dena's memory be made to Bethany Reformed Church or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
