KOCHER, Deloris May
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Thursday afternoon, March 12, 2009. Deloris was born July 23, 1930 in Kalamazoo the daughter of William and Violet Welch Miller and had been a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo area. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. On August 1, 1953 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Robert Kocher who preceded her in death on July 14, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth Kocher; 5 grandchildren, Deloris, Tommy, Kenny, Joseph, and Lynnett. Surviving are her children, Faye Hicks, Carol William Cornell, Christine Kocher and Billy Joe Robinson; 9 grandchildren, Leon, Melody, Billy, Kenneth II, Daniel, Desiree; 13 great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Ciara, Tina, Cory, Ryan, Jessica, Kenneth III, Seth, Lance, Jacob, Jazzy, Kaylynn, Kayleigh; 2 great-great grandchildren, Noah and Carter; a brother, Douglas Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:30 Tuesday at the Stockbridge United Methodist Church, 1009 Stockbridge Ave, with Pastor Ron Slager officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Monday from 6-8pm at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Stockbridge United Methodist Church or Upjohn Community Care Center. www.langelands.com
