Kalamazoo Beloved brother, uncle and friend, Delbert passed away Friday, November 28, 2008. He was born September 4, 1927 in Kalamazoo, a son of Daniel and Jennie Poolman Maas and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. He served his country during WW II in the United States Army and worked for over 30 years as a supervisor at Doubleday Brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents; 8 brothers, Ernest, Raymond, Melvin, Leonard, Harry, Lenny, Wesley and Gerald Maas; and two sisters, Edris Hill and Esther Maas. Delbert is survived by two sisters, Eunice Ampersee of Kalamazoo and Audrey Blakeman of Portage; a brother, Donald Maas of Parchment; several nieces and nephews. Private family graveside services will be held in South Portage Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E.
