of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the age of 47. She was born in Kalamazoo on February 10, 1966, the daughter of Keith A. and Gerry Otto McKee. She was a member of Bethany Reformed Church. She worked at Zayre's Department Store, National City Bank and as a dispatcher for McKee Transportation/Landstar. Deb was a very loving person, who never met a stranger and had a great sense of humor. As a child she was involved in various activities, which included the Girl Scouts, the Rainbow Girls and running cross country. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, David A. White of Kalamazoo; her son, Benjamin K. White, of Kalamazoo; her father and mother, Keith A. and Gerry Otto McKee; brothers and sisters, Michael Susanne McKee of Williamsburg, VA, Susan George Brannum of Kalamazoo and Alan Sabine Haley of Fayetteville, GA; her father-in-law, Harold White; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronald "Ron" Kathy White of Kalamazoo, Ray Lavonne White of St. Louis, MO, Vern Simmers of Holland; and her special long time friend, Dawn Elming of Lafayette, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Lee White and her sister-in-law, Ann Simmers. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Bethany Reformed Church, 1833 S. Burdick St. Rev. Rick Oppenhuizen will officiate. Memorials may be made to Kairos Dwelling.
