Of Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday morning, January 29, 2008 at her residence. Debbie was born August 23, 1954 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Lambert and Cora Staal Johnson. She was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church and enjoyed doing cross stitch, hook rugs, puzzle books, and taking care of her pet bird "pretty girl". On January 3, 1997, Debbie was united in marriage to Terry Waber who survives. Also surviving is her brother, Robert Christine Johnson; several nephews, brother and sisters in law; a dear friend, Sandy Warden, along with many other good friends. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Friday at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 1724 Whites Rd, with Rev. Dr. Joseph Brinks officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at church. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick.
