Kibler, Dawn Haver
Of Kalamazoo, MI Passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Age 86 years. Dawn was born on October 18, 1925, the daughter of the late Ranson and Iva Ward Haver. She attended Western Michigan University, receiving her Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1948. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo. Dawn enjoyed helping those in need through the Stevens Ministry at First United Methodist Church and the Kalamazoo Ladies Library. She enjoyed photography and art. She was married to Kenneth E. Kibler on March 28, 1948; he preceded her in death on December 29, 1997. Surviving are three children, Dennis L. Kibler of Delton, Sharon A. Daniel J. Bunker of Portage and Karen L. Robert L. Sherman of Noblesville, IN; four grandchildren, Dawn M. Michael Koshar, Dustin L. Caitlin Bunker, Lisa A. Sherman and Adam L. Sherman; one great-grandchild, Anthony Koshar. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Rev. Sandra J. Elfring will officiate with interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
