Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday afternoon February 28, 2010 at his residence. David was born September 18, 1958 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Richard and Carolyn Stenger Tolhurst. David was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and had been employed with the Galesburg Meat Company. He was preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by 3 brothers, Dennis Tolhurst, Douglas Tolhurst, and Joe Gettys all of Kalamazoo; a step sister, Lisa Ed Havenaar of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may meet the family 6-8pm Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Private burial will take place at a later date.
