REDIKER, David L.
of Kalamazoo Passed away August 30, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center with his family by his side. David was born March 5, 1952 in Kalamazoo, MI, a son of Gordon and Reba Keisler Rediker and was a lifelong Kalamazoo resident. Prior to his retirement in 2007, he worked for 27 years as a route salesman for Butternut Bread, Interstate Brands Corporation. He also worked as a bus driver for the Kalamazoo Public Schools for 9 years. David was a member of the Church of God Family Worship Center where he sang in the choir and was involved with the Shepherd's Ministry. On May 19, 1973, he was married to Georgia Lee Ingram, who survives. Also surviving are his mother Reba Rediker of Galesburg; 2 sons and 1 daughter, David Lyle Rediker, Jr. of Kalamazoo, Daniel Kim Rediker, Sr. of Algood, TN and Kristina Renee Lee Rediker of Kalamazoo; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa, Daniel, Jr. and Devin Rediker. Friends may meet the family on Friday evening from 6-8 pm on September 2 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3 at 11:00 am at the Church of God Family Worship Center, 5841 East H Ave. with Pastor Lane Davis officiating. Private interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to the Building Fund at Church of God Family Worship Center.
