Of Kalamazoo Passed away Monday afternoon, June 25, 2012. Dave was born October 10, 1945 in Kalamazoo the son of Carleton and Dorothy Haas Pease. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Dave was a longtime member of Centerpoint Church. He had his private pilot's license and loved riding his Harley. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; woodworking, golf, and any type of home improvement. On August 8, 1970 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, the former Rhenda Ronfeldt who survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Kemberlee Matthew Mahaffey; 2 grandchildren, Luke and Colin; his sister, Sandralynn; an aunt, Mary Amos Swartz; and several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Dave's life will be held at 11:00 o'clock Saturday, June 30, at Centerpoint Church, 2345 North 10th Street. Friends may meet the family from 10-11:00am Saturday at the church. Interment with military honors will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Centerpoint Church.
