PARK, David D.
of Kalamazoo Passed away February 11, 2010 at his home. He was born January 13, 1954 in Kalamazoo, to James and Melba Manning Park, Sr. David was united in marriage on September 27, 1986 to the former Wendalyn "Wendy" Bushouse, who survives. David was a distribution specialist at Stryker medical for a number of years. David was involved with the Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes food pantry and the Angel food ministry program at Fourth Reformed Church. He also volunteered his time to deliver medications for Borgess Visiting Nurses and Hospice. Also surviving David are his children, Heather Al Perkins of Galesburg, Jennifer Scott Schluter of Pensacola, FL and Alan Park of Kalamazoo; five grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Melba Park, brother, James Karen Park, Jr.; sister, Linda Park and twin sister, Diana Lukins; sister-in-law, Betty Park; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding David in death were; children, Christopher Park and James Park; father, James, Sr.; and brother, Stephen Park. Family will greet friends on Tuesday evening from 6-9:00 o'clock at Fourth Reformed Church, 6339 Atlantic Dr., Oshtemo, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where a Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 o'clock. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church.
