David A. Donovan

DONOVAN, Mr. David A. Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday morning February 18, 2007 at his residence. David was born April 12, 1917 in Rock Island, Illinois a son of Eberly and Emma Baker Donovan. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with National Water Lift for many years before retiring. He was also a member of Masons for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Donovan, Jr.; lifelong friend, Laura Scarborough; and 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by 2 children, James Donovan and Deborah Perry both of Kalamazoo; 5 step children; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will take place in Riverside Cemetery on October 5, 2007. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Program.
