BAKER, Mr. David M.
Texas Twp., Kalamazoo Passed away unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, September 21, 2010. David was born March 8, 1964 in Kalamazoo, the son of Lawrence M. and Marjorie A. King Baker and was a lifelong resident of this area. He was graduated from Western Michigan University and owned and operated Get-U-Wet Boat Service. During his college years, he was involved with volleyball activities and was active in starting a volleyball club at W.M.U. David enjoyed all of nature and the out of doors, travel and camping. He is survived by a daughter, Dena Marjorie Baker of Paw Paw; his parents, Lawrence and Marjorie Baker of Texas Township; two brothers, Kevin B. Baker of Texas Twp. and Stephen G. Baker of North Ridgeville, OH; a nephew, Kristopher Brian Baker and his wife Cynthia; a great-nephew, Intabre Dale Baker and a great-niece, Dellanna Baker. He was preceded in death by his first brother to go to heaven, Gerald Marlin Baker in 1961. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Private interment will take place in Hope Cemetery, Texas Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
