FIELD, Darwynn ?Dar?
Kalamazoo Passed away December 1, 2007 at his residence. Dar was born January 27, 1942 in Wisconsin and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for most of his life. Dar was a baker and was previously employed at Malnights Bakery and later for 30 years at Schafer?s Bakery until his retirement in 2002. Dar enjoyed NASCAR Racing and ice fishing and attended the Kalamazoo Covenant Church along with his wife Alice. He was married to the former Alice Austin on August 14, 1987. Surviving besides Alice are her 2 sons, Kenneth Krohn and David Krohn, both of Kalamazoo; Dar?s 3 children, David Field, Michael Field and Jamie Hough, all of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; a sister Judy Larry Hill and a brother Bert ?Butch? Field, all of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Dar was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister Donna Baldwin. There will be no visitation. Services will be held at 11:00 o?clock Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway with Pastor John Kepler officiating.
