Daniel Franklin Pack, born on August 23,1952, in Cushing, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 23, 2025, at the VA hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Daniel proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he held Specialist 4th Class ranking and worked in Field General Communications Security. Throughout his military service, he earned numerous accolades, including the National Defense Service Medal, two bronze stars, a sharpshooter badge, and the Vietnam Campaign medal.
Dan was a devoted husband and father. He took immense joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Some of his best memories were being able to spend hours with them, playing, napping, and reading stories. Dan also loved participating in his favorite pastimes of fishing and classic car shows.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Cheryl Pack, his three daughters, Angela (Andrew Meister) Pack, Katelyn Pack, and Danielle (Robert) Holden, son Morgon O'Kelly, and sisters Cathy Stephens and Sherr Avers, as well as other extended family members in Oklahoma and California.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Rex Pack and Bettye Jean (Clemons) Pack, and brother Ronald Pack.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the VA Community Living Center, to which our family extends much appreciation and thanks.
