Of Kalamazoo Died peacefully Saturday March 29, 2008. Dan-o had a big heart and a great sense of humor. He spent most of his retirement from Ironworkers Local 340 hunting, fishing, and playing cards. When he was not in the woods or on the pier he was chasing the sale of hunting and fishing collectibles. Dan was born on January 28, 1946 in Kalamazoo, MI and was preceded in death by a son, Joshua in 2003. Surviving are his wife Dorothy; son, Andy; and in-laws, Stan and Elsie Jacher. He will be deeply missed by many, many friends. A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday April 4, from 5-7pm with a service at 7:00PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
