Portage Passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Dameon was born June 3, 1977 in South Bend, IN the son of Daniel and Karen Sue Ward Hushower and had lived in the Portage area for many years. He had been employed as a lead logistics operator at a pharmaceutical company for 7 years. On August 14, 2004, he married the former Jamie Goodacre, who survives. He is also survived by his children Skyler Blue and Zoey Hushower; his father, Daniel Hushower of Scotts; his mother, Karen Sue Hushower of Florida; his step-mother, Donna Hushower of Portage; a brother, Derek Megan Hushower of FL; grandparents, Richard Hushower of Coloma, and Jean Ernie Backus of Niles; many aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws; best friends, Robert, Jay, Lee and Alan Brown. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7 PM.
