QUARRY, Dale R.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Died January 28, 2013 at the age of 75. He was born May 4, 1937 in Kalamazoo to the late Harold and Emma Randal Quarry. He was united in marriage to Dixie Ingram on April 12, 1958, who survives. Dale was a believer. His Bible was well worn and underlined. He was a prayer group leader for several years. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He loved music and he loved to sing and also played the harmonica with his dad. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He loved going to car shows and playing golf with his son. Also Dale enjoyed going to movies, was a big TV buff, played cards, Scrabble, cribbage and doing puzzles with his wife Dixie. He was a big man with a big heart, a true character through and through. Surviving Dale are his wife, Dixie Quarry; children, Daniel Quarry, Deborah Karl Lingerfelt and Darlene Danny Molnar; 2 grandchildren, Patrick and James; sister, Jo Nap; brother-in-law, John Lorraine Ingram; and nieces and nephews, Cindy, Scott, Jeff and Julie. No visitation is scheduled. A memorial mass will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Feb. 2 at noon. Memorials in Dale's name may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kalamazoo.
