NORRIS, Dale E.
Kalamazoo Died August 2, 2014 at age 88. Dale was born November 2, 1925 in Traverse City, MI to the late Carl and Fay McConaha Norris. He was united in marriage to Frances Goodrick on June 12, 1948 for a loving 66 years together. She survives. Dale served in the U.S. Navy from May of 1944 until honorably discharged in May of 1946. Dale is also survived by his children, Kim Dickens of Kalamazoo and Craig Norris of Kalamazoo; honorary son, Robert Andrea Stamp; grandchildren, Logan, Caleb, Zakary and Hope; and many nieces and nephews. Dale is preceded in death by siblings, Ralph Norris, Hilda Ankerson, and Keith and Ray Norris. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, August 5th from 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Hwy. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, 10:00 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 939 Charlotte Ave., Kalamazoo. Burial will immediately follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
