Dale Ronald Foote

Passed away Friday morning, October 23, 2020 at his home. Dale was born September 14, 1938 in Allegan, MI the son of Guy and Erma (Morris) Foote. He was a graduate of Otsego High School and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement in 2000, he was employed for 36 years with Georgia Pacific. Dale was a loving husband and father and enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting at his cottage on Blue Lake in Fountain, MI. On September 9, 1961 Dale was united in marriage to his loving wife of 59 years, Sharon (Woodard), who survives. He is also survived by his son Todd (Anne) Foote of Paw Paw; 2 grandsons, Christopher (Morgan) Foote, Tyler Foote; 2 great-grandchildren, Conner Dale and Madison Marie Foote all of Paw Paw; a sister, Jeri Hartwell of Otsego; and several brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by a son, Scott Foote; brothers, Lee Roy and Jack Foote; and sisters, Pauline Powers and Betty Lutes. Cremation has taken place and a service to celebrate Dale's life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Foundation or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
