FULLER, Corey David
Of Kalamazoo Early Friday morning, August 31, 2007, Corey passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born September 20, 1983, the second youngest of four children to David ?Charlie? and Renee Martin Fuller. On Friday, we lost our son, our grandson, our brother, our nephew, our cousin, and our friend. Corey touched many in his short life. Corey loved working and working hard. He loved wrestling and loved helping people. He cherished his dog ?Jake?. He loved building and fixing things and was in the middle of restoring his house, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle & playing softball. He was a Firefighter at heart, and served On-Call status with Portage Fire Dept. Station 2 until he moved to Cooper Township. He just joined the National Guard and was excited about working hard in basic training and learning how to become a Medic and to serve our country; a small ?big? man with big plans. Corey is survived by his Mom, Renee and his Dad, David ?Charlie?; his sister Amanda; and his two brothers and best buds? James and Gery. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents Gery and Rosaline Martin, and paternal grandmother, Shirley Fuller; 5 uncles and aunts, 12 cousins and scores and scores of friends. Preceding him in death is his paternal grandfather Corliss ?Corky? Fuller. Funeral services for Corey will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Portage Free Methodist Church, 1715 W. Centre Ave., with Rev. Chuck Conners officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E.
