GRAMES, Cora Mae
Of Coldwater formerly of Galesburg Cora Mae Grames was born December 5, 1907, in Alamo Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, the daughter of Henry and Della Mae Beeler Aukerman and passed away July 26, 2011, in Coldwater, Michigan. She was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident, residing the past 12 years in Coldwater. Cora was employed with The Upjohn Company and later with Ingersol's for over 20 years. On September 4, 1931, she was united in marriage to Elmer Ray Grames, who preceded her in death on July 25, 1986. Cora was also preceded in death by her parents; by all of her siblings, Wesley, Elmer, Charles, Mary Ellen and Bertha. Surviving are nieces and nephews: Sue J. Arnold Fair, Don Bretta Aukerman, Earl Barbara Aukerman, Eleanor Cartwright and Marian Marciniak. There will be no visitation and a Graveside Service will be held 11:00am Thursday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock.
