Kalamazoo Connie went to be with her Lord on Saturday morning, February 16, 2008, at Borgess Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1926 in Kalamazoo, one of four children to the late Benjamin Franklin Sr. and Leora Tuckey Bartlett. Connie was employed by American National Bank for over 20 years until her retirement in 1981. Preceding her in death were her parents; 2 sisters, Frances Potter, and Doris Bartlett; and 1 brother, Benjamin F. Bartlett Jr. Surviving are 4 nieces, Judith Hite of Kalamazoo, Marilyn Jim Engberts of Kalamazoo, Janice Don Burt of Bath, OH, and Kitti Darryl Bennett of Fallon, NV; 2 nephews, David Robyn Bartlett of Nashville, IN, and Joseph Nancarrow of Toledo, OH; 1 cousin, Phyllis Bob Carter of Richland; and many grand nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Connie will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 247 W. Lovell Street, with The Rev. Mother Beth McLaren officiating. Private interment will be in Mountain Home Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or West Michigan Cancer Center.
