LOWER, Connie Sue
Of Kalamazoo Connie Sue Weck Lower was born December 12, 1950, in Mason, Michigan, the daughter of Russell and Vivian Ketchum Weck and left this life for her heavenly home on August 23, 2011 after a long battle with several illnesses and various complications due to diabetes. Connie lived in Lansing until 1985 at which time she moved to Kalamazoo to pursue her career with the State of Michigan and raise her family. Connie belonged to the Assembly of God Church where her passions and faith led her to give so much of herself to her family and community. Connie has now joined her father and grandparents for a long awaited reunion. Surviving Connie are her mother, Vivian Ransburg; a daughter Camille Wallace; a son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Jennifer Lower-Wyrick; granddaughters, Allison and Emily Wyrick; and grandson Alexander Wallace. She is also survived by sisters Carol Edwin Banner, Alice Jim Wood, Nancy Gehringer, Debra Weck, Cindy Marvin Speer, and brother Terry Ransburg, plus nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, August 26. Burial will take place in Pinora Cemetery in Reed City, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her son, Tim to assist with expenses. Please visit
