STUCK, Clyde R. "Sam" Passed away August 2, 2012 at the age of 88. He was born May 9, 1924 in Fulton, MI to the late Milton and Ruth Holtz Stuck. Sam was united in marriage to Joyce Morey on March 21, 1944, who survives. Sam served in the U.S. Army from February of 1943 until honorably discharged in November of 1945. Among the many awards Sam received was the Purple Heart and Bronze Campaign Star. Sam was a lifelong farmer and was proud of his crops. In later years Sam had a large garden and sold his vegetables at a roadside stand. Also surviving Sam are his children, James Diane Stuck, Terry Stuck, Jerry Carol Stuck, Richard Debbie Stuck and Susan Tim Wilson; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Taff; brother-in-law, Jay Elva Morey; sister-in-law, Louise Stuck; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Sam in death were brothers, Gaylord and Karl Stuck; brothers-in-law, Sterling Taft, Junior Morey and Harold Morey; and sister-in-law, Elisabeth Keagle. A memorial service will take place Monday, 11:00 o'clock at Climax United Methodist Church, 133 E. Maple St., Climax. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Climax Chapel, 205 E. Maple St. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Climax United Methodist Church or to Climax-Scotts Schools Athletic Department.
