Kalamazoo, MI Died Wednesday afternoon February 16, 2011. Clifford was born January 27, 1962 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Frank and Hilda VanDenBos Owen. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with several manufacturing firms in Kalamazoo. He was also a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Three Rivers. Clifford was preceded in death by his father. On August 11, 1990, he was united in marriage to Sonji J. Duncan Owen who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Lindsey, Jenna, and Tanner Owen; his mother, Hilda Owen of Kalamazoo; 9 brothers and sisters, Marva Joe Miles of Decatur, MI, Frank Jeanie Owen of Wisconsin, Cheryl Dave Rickey of Vandalia, MI, Joseph Boyle of Allegan, John Joyce Kline of Sears, MI, MI, Debra Cole of Kalamazoo, Martha Peters of Muskegon, Paula Walter Dewey of Oshtemo, and Adam Owen of Adrian, MI; several aunts and uncles; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 1 o'clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church or the Kalamazoo Humane Society. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
