Portage Passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2007 in Arroyo Grande, California. Mike was born April 26, 1955 in Newport, RI to Cletys A. and Evelyn R. Schroeder Logsden. Mike had an overwhelming love for his son, Jesse. Much of his joy came from spending time and traveling with him. As a carpenter with Local 525, he worked locally and throughout the country. Mike was a spiritual person who loved music and playing guitar. Surviving Mike is his; son, Jesse Logsden of Kalamazoo; his partner, Lori; sisters, Pam Scott McHugh and Sharon Logsden; and brother, Tim Sonya Logsden; Jason, 2 nieces; a grand niece and a grand nephew. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother. Services will take place December 24th at 11:00am at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo, with a visitation for 1-hour prior to the service.
