Of Kalamazoo, MI Passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the age of 84. He was born in Kalamazoo on June 3, 1928, the son of the late Orren and Dollie Renfro Bronson. He served with the United States Air Force and worked as a millwright for the James River Company, retiring after 39 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Paw Paw, loved traveling and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed attending all of his children's and grandchildren's sporting and school events. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Detroit Tigers. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bobby Faye Marion Bronson. They were united in marriage on June 11, 1955. He is also survived by his children, Karen Mark Lochart of Mattawan, Linda Jean Bronson of Kalamazoo, Diane Marie Bronson-Schuldt of Kalamazoo, Donna Bruce Lietzau of Paw Paw and Patricia Victor Wolff of Marquette, MI; his grandchildren, Michael and Melinda Ammon, Katie and Allie Lochart, Jennifer Lietzau, Chandler Erdos and Nolan Jones; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, William Atwell Stephens, Christina Dial, Adeline Ziegler, Wayne Lusk, Everett Bronson and Lee Bronson. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Rev. Eric Gledhill will officiate. Entombment will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
