Formerly of Kalamazoo Died December 8, 2010 in Kissimmee, FL. Claude was born September 26, 1960 in Chicago, IL, a son of Claude E. Sr. and Gloria Jean Blackful. He graduated from Mattawan High School in 1980, served in the U.S. Army and moved to Kissimmee, FL three years ago. Claude was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses since 2005. He was an avid bowler; he won several tournaments and had a bowling average of 290-295, but cooking was his passion. Claude was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Blackful in 2003 and by a sister Robin Jackson in 1970. On March 7, 2008, he was married to Vickie Blanchard. Surviving are his wife Vickie; a step-son L. B. Schei of Kissimmee; 2 grandchildren, Tasha Cummings and Jamie Leeanne Reyes; his father Claude Cummings, Sr. of Shreveport, LA; 3 brothers, Larmon Carla Cummings of Chicago, Stacey Cummings and Kevin R. Donna Jackson, all of Lawton; a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. and where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12 Noon with Brother Derek Jennings officiating.
