TINKLENBERG, Mr. Clarence N. Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday evening December 31, 2006. Clarence was born July 19, 1943 in Kalamazoo, Michigan; a son of Leonard and Clara DeVries Tinklenberg. During the Vietnam War, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with several Kalamazoo area gas stations for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Nelson Tinklenberg; and 2 sisters, Patricia Prouty and Jeannie Boven. He is survived by 12 brothers and sisters, Myrtle Klop, Betty Zuidema, John Tinklenberg, and Leonard Mary Lou Tinklenberg, Jr. of Warsaw, IL, Charles Belva Tinklenberg of Portage, Lawrence Barbara Tinklenberg of Parchment, Carol Benjamin Demereck of Paw Paw, Loretta Charles Tolhurst of Richland, Clarissa Richard Hansen of Richland, Loren MaryLou Tinklenberg of Kalamazoo, and Ryan Tinklenberg of Kalamazoo; and many nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
