Of Kalamazoo, MI Died suddenly on September 1, 2009. Chris was born September 1, 1989 in Kalamazoo, MI. He graduated from Mattawan High School in 2007 and was currently attending K.V.C.C. and was employed at Burger King on West Main St. in Kalamazoo. Surviving are his father Jim Judy Hilliard of Mattawan and his mother Kelly DeHoff; a sister Amanda Hilliard of Mattawan and grandmother Margaret Hilliard Fredericks of Kaleva, MI; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 2936 S. 9th St. with the Rev. James Dyke officiating. Interment in Almena Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Westside Chapel. Memorial contributions in Chris's memory may be made to Gryphon Place, 1104 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
