Christine A. Mejeur

MEJEUR, Christine A. Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday morning, August 28th, at Rose Arbor Hospice, Kalamazoo. She was born August 31, 1912 in Fremont, MI, the daughter of the late Steven and Anna VanZomeren Schreur. She was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church, where she enjoyed attending very much. She married Philip Mejeur in December of 1963, who preceded her in death in August of 1984. She enjoyed listening to music and enjoyed singing in the Messiah. She was also an avid reader. Surviving are her; step-children, Anna Munger of Kalamazoo, Rena DeHaan of Kalamazoo, Ada Visser of Portage, Garry Mejeur of Plainwell, Harriet Ed Jeffrey of Hot Springs, AR and Philip Marcia Mejeur of Kalamazoo; special friend, ?Net? Oranje; many grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Also preceding her were; step-daughter, Nellie Middlebush; and brother, Neal ?Shorty? and wife Wilma Schreur. Services will be held 12:00PM Friday, August 31st, at Second Christian Reformed Church, Nichols Rd., Dr. Warren Lammers, officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services, from 11 ? 12:00PM at the church. Arrangements are by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St., Kalamazoo. A private interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, 3:00PM. Memorials may be directed in Christine?s name the Kalamazoo Christian Schools Association.
