Of Portage Passed away Thursday October 25, 2007. Christine was born January 12, 1972 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Bernard and Mary Johnson Wilder. She was a graduate of the Bronson School of Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse with MPI Research. Christine loved to sew and was very creative and playful. She especially enjoyed doing projects and spending time with her boys. Christine also enjoyed camping and scuba diving on her vacations to the Caribbean. On August 7, 1993 she was united in marriage to her husband Tom Hemingway who survives. Also surviving are her two sons, Jacob and Zachary Hemingway; her mother, Mary Johnson; sisters and brother, Elizabeth David Wright, Joseph Wilder, Sarah Lovell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A gathering for family and friends will be held today from 4-8pm followed by a private family vigil at 8:00 o?clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Memorials may be directed to an educational fund for Christine?s sons c/o Citizens Credit Union. www.langelands.com
