Christa H. Sevo

SEVO, Mrs. Christa H. Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday evening December 2, 2006. Christa was born August 26, 1926 in East Prussia, Germany a daughter of Gustaf and Augusta Beister Gaigals. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1951 and attended the Lutheran Church of the Savior. She also enjoyed playing cards, watching hot air balloons, sewing, bowling, gardening, and being with animals especially her dog. She was also active with the Special Olympics. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dragan Sevo in May of 1997; and an infant daughter, Linda Elizabeth Sevo. She is survived by a daughter, Monalisa Christina Sevo of Kalamazoo; a sister-in-law, Zora Secivanovich of New Jersey; and several cousins. Services will be held 11 o?clock Thursday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 10-11am Thursday at the chapel. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Chapter of the Special Olympics.
