Cheryl Elaine Atchley

ATCHLEY, CHERYL ELAINE of Kalamazoo On September 13, Cheryl went to be with her Lord and maker. She is the daughter of John and Jaqueline Fritz Sommers, and was born in Benton Harbor on October 27, 1947. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, reading and being involved with her church and friends. Cheryl was a loyal employee of Knouse Foods up until her hopitalization this past March. Surviving Cheryl are, 2 daughters and 1 son; her mother, Jaqueline Sommers, sister, Janet Paul Pearson; a special aunt and uncle, Walter Arletta Fritz; grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding Cheryl in death was her father, John Sommers. Many thanks to the Bronson Methodist Hospital staff for the good care they gave Cheryl during her long stay. Family will greet friends from 10:30 until time of service. The memorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Pastor Greg Silvey presiding, 2031 E. Cork St., Kalamazoo.
