Charles H. "Chuck" Triemstra

TRIEMSTRA, Charles H. ?Chuck?
of Kalamazoo Went to be with his Lord on November 2, 2007 from his home. He was born June 14, 1950, in Kalamazoo, to Egbert and Angeline Poortenga Triemstra. He graduated from Kalamazoo Christian Schools in 1968. On October 8, 1971 he was united in marriage to Charlene Izenbaard. Chuck loved his Lord and his family. When he wasn?t home with his family or at church, he could usually be found at work. He was a member of Parchment Christian Reformed Church and served as Deacon many times. Surviving Charles are his; wife, Charlene; children, Brian Amy Triemstra of Kalamazoo, Scott Monica Triemstra of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Sam and Alex; brothers, Thomas Ann Triemstra, Daniel Marcia Triemstra; sisters, Barbara Roger Dekker, Nancy Paul Miersma and Kay Triemstra; step-mother, Helen Anderson; mother-in-law, Evelyn Izenbaard; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Wanda Izenbaard and Brenda Dan Balkema; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; and father-in-law, Don Izenbaard. Visitation will take place Monday from 2 ? 4 and 6 ? 8:00PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St., Oshtemo. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00AM, at Parchment Christian Reformed Church, 1615 East G Ave., Parchment, Pastor Kevin Heeres, officiating. A private family committal service will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, S. Westnedge.
