Charles P Travis

TRAVIS, Charles P. Richland Passed away May 6, 2007 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo as a result of a motorcycle accident. Charles was born on July 16, 1953-in Kalamazoo-a son of Thomas and Mary Delbridge Travis. Charles graduated from Comstock High school and soon after became a set-up operator for Jarvis Pemco for almost 35 years. Charles loved his family above all else; he tried to never miss a family get-together and especially loved his camping trips with his daughters. He loved the outdoors, and he loved his motorcycles. Surviving him are; children, Krystle and Carlee Forbes, both of Kalamazoo; life partner, Karen Forbes of Kalamazoo; mother, Mary Travis; sister, Becky Greg George Travis; brothers, Kenneth Valinda Travis, Gordon Travis and James Travis; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death are; father, Thomas Travis; brother, Lyle Travis; sister, Beverly Travis. Visitation will be Thursday, May 10, 2007, from 5 ? 8:00pm, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Graveside services will take place 1:00pm on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Hillside Cemetery, Plainwell, MI.
