POGUE, Mr. Charles H.
Parchment, MI Died Tuesday afternoon November 17, 2009. Charles was born July 9, 1931 in St. Charles, Arkansas a son of Gus and Bertha Skaggs Pogue. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Checker Motors for 20 years before retiring. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Clara Burgen in 2001; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by 5 children, Laura Sweet of Climax, Kathy Wyman of Kalamazoo, Betty Melson of Portage, Tracey Pogue of Parchment, and Michelle Pogue-Schomer of Kalamazoo; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; a sister; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday.
