LYNCH, Charles W.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Charles passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 26, 2013. He was born February 2, 1926 in Hamilton, OH, the son of Wheeler and Vera Bacon Lynch. Charles was employed by Durametallic Corp. in Kalamazoo for over 20 years until his retirement. In July 1955, he was united in marriage to the former Winifred B. Carter, who preceded him in death on October 9, 1996. Also preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Paul Hubband; and former spouse, Beverly Lynch. Surviving are his four children, Jack Chris Lynch of Rockford, Louise Pat Langworthy of Kalamazoo, Fred Kelly Lynch of Green Bay, WI and Roger Karin Lynch of Schoolcraft; thirteen grandchildren, Jack Angie Lynch, Sean Deanna Lynch, Heather Bacarella, Connor Lynch, Jonathan Amy Bent Langworthy, Jessica Nick Weitekamp Langworthy, Morgan Lynch, Carter Lynch, Victoria Lynch, Delaney Lynch, Meghann Jeff Goodman, Keegan Lynch and Jared Lynch; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Hugh Sandy Lynch of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Stockbridge United Methodist Church, 1009 Stockbridge Avenue, with Pastor Ron Slager officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 PM on Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Private inurnment will be in Millburg Cemetery, Coloma.
