Charles W. Ivy

Charles William Ivy was born June 6, 1941. Charles was the second child born to the late Oreace and Ruby Ivy. Charles attended Fannie Carter High School in Okolona, Mississippi where he graduated in 1960. Charles later moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where he met and married Cynthia McFall on October 13, 1962, blessed with three children; Yvonda Harvey of Grand Rapids, MI, Kathy A. Pearson of Indianapolis, IN and William Ivy, Sr. of Toledo, OH. Charles was employed with General Motors Corp. for 40 years and retired in 2006. His favorite hobby was bowling. Charles leaves to cherish his memories his wife Cynthia of 51 years, his children; Yvonda, Kathy and William, grandchildren; Charles, Karmen, Cameo, Tia, William, Jr., Amber, Kevin and Sam, ten great-grandchildren, six brothers; Jim, Josh, Oreace, Jr., R.J., Clarence and James, four sisters; Mary, Alberta, Martha and Glenda, his father-in-law, Johnny McFall, five aunts, his favorite aunt Rosie White, and his favorite uncle Tommie Williams.
