FULBRIGHT, Mr. Charles R.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday evening November 9, 2008 at his residence with his family and friends at his side. Charles was born July 4, 1948 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Charles A. and Gwendolyn Russell Fulbright. Charles graduated from Kalamazoo Central and KVCC. In 1967, he joined the Marine Corps. On his return home he worked several places, finally retiring from General Motors after 23 years. Charles loved the water and collecting cars. He was preceded in death by his father. His is survived by his wife of 9 years, Susan D. O'Brien Fulbright; 2 sons, Joshua Fulbright and fiancé, Michaela, and Charles and partner Chris all of Kalamazoo; his mother, Gwendolyn Tulk of Kalamazoo; several aunts and uncles; a close cousin, Albert Russell; and several other cousins. A private family gathering and burial will take place at a later date. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
