Charles E. Forshee

Forshee, Charles E. 1951-2012 Charlie passed on peacefully and quietly at Rose Arbor on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was born on July 10, 1951 in Paw Paw, Michigan to parents Evelyn and R.D. Forshee and resided most of his life in Portage and Kalamazoo, Michigan. Charlie had a big heart and a great sense of humor, and leaves to cherish his memory are his loving parents, sisters Linda Abe Olivares, Rosemary Charles Fisher, brothers Robert and Tim Forshee, and many other friends and family. A special blessing was the amazing staff at Rose Arbor Hospice, who provided such comfort and care to Charlie and to us, his family, during his final journey on this Earth. God Bless you all. Rest In Peace Charlie will miss and love you always. Letting Go The angels gathered near your bed so very close to you. For they knew the pain and suffering that you were going through. I thought about so many things, as I held tightly to your hand. Oh, how I wished that you were strong and happy once again. But your eyes were looking forward to that place beyond the sky, where Jesus held His outstretched arms, it was time to say "good- bye". I struggled with my selfish thoughts, for I wanted you to stay, so we could talk and laugh again, like we did just yesterday. But we knew He had the answer, and I knew He loved you so. So I give to you life's greatest gift, the gift of letting go. Now my heart will carry memories of the love you gave to me. Until we meet again in Heaven where the best is yet to be.
