BOSKER, Charles V. Portage Passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 following a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Charlie was born August 26, 1933 in Kalamazoo, a son of Peter and Charlotte Van Den Bosch Bosker and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed as a brick layer for over 50 years, working for many of those years with the Vandermay Construction Company. He was a member of Third Christian Reformed Church and served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, the former Joyce DeLoof; their children, Cindy Mike Mc Donald of Paw Paw, Thomas Bosker of Marcellus, Daniel Deb Bosker of Portage and Julie Lake of Kalamazoo; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and John Bosker; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bob. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Third Christian Reformed Church, 2400 Winchell Ave, with Rev Dr. Kenneth Baker officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, South. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church, beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Third Christian Reformed Church or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
