CADY, Cecelia C. "Cele"
of Portage, Michigan Passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at her home in Portage. Cele was born June 20, 1938 in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late Emmett and Estelle Lech Stuart. She married Jan Cady Sr. on May 1, 1961, in Kalamazoo, who survives her. Cele spent nearly 50 years as a collection agent, the last 8 years as a self-employed agent for various companies. Cele loved being with her grandchildren and supported them with their sports programs. She and her husband also enjoyed traveling in their motor home, taking as many photos as she could, was a true animal lover, and also known to be a very gifted artist. Also surviving are her sons, William Burkhardt of Kalamazoo, Ricky Brenda Burkhardt of W. Bloomfield, MI, Michael Burkhardt of Kalamazoo, Jan Louanne Cady Jr. of Kissimmee, FL, and Darrin Cady of Kalamazoo; 8 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery Chapel, Thursday, October 23rd at 2:00PM. Visitation will take place at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E.
