KLEIN, Cathy L.
Of Kalamazoo Cathy passed away Saturday evening, January 21, 2012 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence following a short illness. She was born August 14, 1946 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Thomas and Jacqueline Kean. Cathy was a graduate of Loy Norrix High School and also attended Monterey Peninsula College and Davenport College. She was a military wife for 25 years, last stationed in Arlington, VA. Cathy loved to travel, cook, dance, music and most of all, loved her family. Surviving are her mother and step-father, Jacqueline Carol Buder of Kalamazoo; four children, Brian Klein of Kalamazoo, Kerry Klein of Kalamazoo, Blake Tina Klein of Greensboro, NC, and Brady Klein of Kinross, MI; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; step-brother, Terry Buder of Kalamazoo, two step-sisters, Debbie Nowak of Orlando, FL and Diane Kinabrew of Albuquerque, NM; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her father, Thomas Kean; brother, Robert Kean; and former husband, Harry F. Klein, Jr. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 1-2pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, with a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
